🚀 Join our Team as a Senior Control Systems Engineer
Location: Billingham or Worksop
Hours: 37.5hrs per week - Office based
Salary range: From £55,000 (dependent on experience)

We're Actemium Automation Teesside - part of the global VINCI Group - and we're on the lookout for a Senior Control Systems Engineer who is passionate about technology, thrives in a collaborative environment, and is ready to make an impact.
👷♂️ What You'll Do
You'll play a key role in delivering cutting-edge control and automation solutions for a wide range of industrial clients. From concept through to commissioning, you'll be involved every step of the way.
Your day-to-day will include:
- Actively participating in the whole life cycle of delivering projects, from start to finish.
- Fostering great relationships with customers, suppliers, and colleagues.
- Producing design and test documentation.
- Developing PLC, DCS, HMI, and SCADA software, including platforms such as Siemens PCS 7 and Rockwell PlantPAx.
- Performing testing with customers.
- Carrying out on-site commissioning.
- Compiling training manuals and running customer training sessions.

🧠 What You Bring
- A strong understanding and experience with major brands of PLC, DCS, and SCADA/HMI platforms, including Siemens PCS 7 and PlantPAx, with an appetite to learn new technologies.
- Experience writing software and working with customers to deliver projects.
- Good understanding of setting up, commissioning, and fault finding of industrial networks (Profibus, ProfiNet, Ethernet) preferred, but not essential.
- Experience working in an engineering environment.
- An appetite to be the lead engineer on projects and learn new technologies when required.
