Activation & Operations Assistant, STV Commercial
Location: Glasgow/Hybrid
Salary: £25,878 per annum

The Role
The Activation & Operations Assistant will execute, optimise, book and deliver marketing and advertising campaigns across all STV output including audio, broadcast and digital platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Activate client marketing campaigns by working in collaboration with sales teams to support with hands-on activation across scheduling, booking and optimising marketing campaigns running across all STV products and platforms.
- Assist, actively setup and manage daily the campaign delivery against campaign parameters.
- Provide regular updates of inventory availability, sales policy information, programming information and efficiency information to internal and external stakeholders as required.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of campaign bookings.
- Efficiently manage workload within a team, displaying a high degree of initiative specifically in relation to individual portfolio management.
- Maintain regular, positive and proactive relationships with stakeholders.
- Regularly communicate with internal STV teams – including wider commercial team, insights, finance, creative and compliance as required.
- Be a brand ambassador for STV at all times.
- Assist in any other aspect of the work of the Company as reasonably required.

Skills & Experience
- A minimum of one year’s demonstrable relevant experience working in an administrative support capacity is essential, preferably gained within a commercial environment.
- Ability to forward plan, prioritise, achieve deadlines and adapt to a fast paced and varied workload whilst maintaining high levels of accuracy.
- Strong numerical/analytical skills, experience of working with numbers and carrying out calculations.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail to maintain a high-quality output.
- Experience of working across multiple systems to manage inventory, book campaigns, optimise schedules and deliver campaign parameters.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively and develop effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong IT skills, in particular MS Office, with a detailed understanding of Excel.
- Results orientated and target driven to succeed in a commercial environment.
- Effective problem solving skills, offering creative solutions and considering alternatives.
- Commercially minded with a passion for media and advertising.
