Description

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Active Directory specialist to support the migration of AD services between infrastructure environments spanning both on-premises and Microsoft Azure cloud platforms. This is a hands-on technical role, not a pure project management position. The successful candidate will provide expert technical input, help shape the migration approach, and work collaboratively with infrastructure, cloud, security, application, and operational teams. They must also be comfortable working independently, taking ownership, and proactively driving technical activities through to completion.

Responsibilities:

  • The ideal candidate must be self-motivated with a proven record of accomplishment.
  • Assess existing Active Directory environments and identify migration requirements, dependencies, risks, and constraints.
  • Design and execute migrations between AD environments, including cloud, hybrid, and on-premises infrastructure.
  • Provide expert input into migration strategy, architecture, planning, sequencing, testing, cutover, and rollback.
  • Support the migration of users, groups, computers, service accounts, permissions, policies, and associated identity services.
  • Troubleshoot complex Active Directory, authentication, DNS, trust, replication, and identity-synchronisation issues.
  • Work closely with other technical teams to coordinate dependencies and minimise service disruption.
  • Produce and maintain technical designs, migration plans, implementation procedures, test evidence, and operational handover documentation.
  • Identify technical risks and recommend practical mitigations.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
