Voluntary Basis

Gateshead, Tyne and Wyre

Part-Time

We are looking for a confident and outgoing volunteer to support staff in coordinating group activities and events for the people we support in the Gateshead area. These activities and events are designed to encourage the people we support to build connections with others and to create a supportive community.

The people we support in Gateshead already participate in a range of group activities such as pottery classes and walking groups. Some of these activities take place in the community and others in our Gateshead office. You will attend these activities with the people we support, helping to provide direction and making them feel comfortable.

You will also work with staff to organise new activities and events for the people we support. This could include an arts and crafts group, a regular coffee morning etc. Staff will assist in the planning of these events and activities but you will be responsible for facilitating on the day.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
