Job Introduction

📍 Location: Malling Grange

💷 Pay: £13

⏰ Hours: Full time or Part time hours available – alternative weekends to be included

Join the opening team at Malling Grange, our brand-new luxury care home opening in Autumn 2026.

Designed around luxurious interiors and modern care technology, Malling Grange will offer spacious en-suite bedrooms, elegant lounges, a café/bistro, cinema, hair salon, landscaped gardens, wellbeing spaces and four individually themed care suites.

As a Care & Support Assistant, you'll help residents live happy, fulfilling lives by providing compassionate care, promoting independence, supporting wellbeing and creating meaningful connections every day.

No previous care experience? No problem. Full training and ongoing support will be provided.

As our Activities Coordinator, you’ll bring energy, fun, and inspiration to residents’ lives through creative, personalised activities. From social events and cultural programmes to 1:1 support and outings, you’ll help residents stay active, engaged, and happy.

What You’ll Be Doing

Creating meaningful experiences that promote independence and wellbeing Stimulating body and mind through planned and spontaneous activities Supporting residents to remain active in the community Collaborating with colleagues, families, and volunteers Driving the Avante minibus for outings (if needed) Coordinating group and 1:1 activities tailored to individual interests Ensure high standards of care in line with Avante’s Eden Alternative Philosophy

About You

Caring, compassionate, and motivating Creative, energetic, and organised Flexible and confident coordinating activities Experience planning and delivering recreational or wellbeing activities (helpful but not essential) Have a genuine passion for improving residents’ lives
