Activities & Wellbeing Manager

Location: Fairmile Grange Care Home, Christchurch, Dorset.

Salary: £15.18 per hour

Hours: 30 hours a week, daytime schedules with alternate weekend working.

Creating Moments That Matter Every Day

We're looking for an enthusiastic, dynamic and people-focused Activities & Wellbeing Manager to lead our dedicated Activities Team and help shape an outstanding resident experience.

This Is a Fantastic Opportunity For Either

  • An experienced Activity Coordinator ready to take the next step into management, or
  • A Senior Carer or Care Team Leader looking to diversify their career within the care home sector.

As our Activities & Wellbeing Manager, you'll lead a team of 4-5 colleagues who deliver engaging activities, meaningful wellbeing programmes and community events that enrich the lives of all our residents.

Importantly, you'll ensure that every resident is included – from those who enjoy a busy social calendar to those who may be more isolated, living with dementia, or require a more personalised approach to engagement.

What You'll Be Doing

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
