About South Coast Nursing Homes
South Coast Nursing Homes is an established and successful, family-owned and managed care home company based in Worthing, West Sussex.
We currently operate 9 homes across East and West Sussex, providing 414 beds, having recently opened a brand-new home in Central Worthing, named The Poets. Each registered home offers the highest standards of resident care and comfort, 24 hours a day, for both long and short-term stays.

Current Vacancy
We are recruiting for an Activities Co-Ordinator to join our team at Berkeley Lodge, Worthing.
Role Overview
In this role, you will ensure that the social and welfare needs of residents are consistently met through meaningful, tailored activities that reflect their needs, capabilities, interests, and skills.

Hours: 36 hours per week (9:00 AM – 5:00 PM, including alternate weekends).
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a varied, stimulating, and meaningful activity programme to enhance the quality of life for residents, ensuring activities/events are clearly displayed.
- Organise and coordinate both one-to-one and group activities, tailored to the individual interests and preferences of residents.
- Plan and develop a progressive activities programme over time.
Essential Requirements
- Passionate about delivering superior services and making a meaningful impact.
- Kind, caring, and compassionate with a positive and encouraging approach.
- Energetic, hardworking, and resilient.
- Ability to act as a team player.
- Experience in coordinating and organising activities.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Previous experience in care positions or creative roles within a similar environment is highly benefitial.
