Location: Stockport, SK3 OTX

Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 9:00am -5:00pm, remaining flexible as required.

Salary: Competitive, Based on experience

Role Overview:

Do you have a passion for bringing joy, stimulation, and companionship to older people?

We're looking for a creative, compassionate, and energetic Activities Co-ordinator to join our dedicated team at Plane Tree Court.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, schedule and lead a wide variety of activities (arts & crafts, games, music, gentle exercise, outings, reminiscence sessions, etc.)
  • Encourage resident participation and adapt activities for individual needs
  • Work collaboratively with residents, families, care staff, and external providers to enrich the resident experience.
  • Ensure all activities are delivered safely, in line with safeguarding, infection control, and health & safety guidelines.
  • Maintain accurate records of all activities and ensure updates are reflected in residents’ care plans.
  • Foster a warm and inclusive atmosphere.

Requirements:

  • A genuine passion for working with older people and enhancing their wellbeing.
  • Kind, patient, and a natural motivator.
  • Creativity and enthusiasm for developing varied and inclusive activity programmes.
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work flexibly and independently, with strong time management.
  • A full UK driving licence is a plus (for occasional trips out)
