Activities Coordinator – Contract Position
Salary: £12.71 per hour (based on a 37.5-hour contract) Hours: 37.5 hours per week Benefits:
- Paid DBS
- Pension contribution
- Uniform provided
- 5.6 weeks’ annual leave (pro-rata for contracted hours)
Role Overview
As the Activities Coordinator, you’ll take a dynamic role in enhancing daily life for residents (including those with dementia) through engaging, person-centred activities that foster wellbeing, independence and social connection.
Your responsibilities include:
- Designing and delivering a diverse programme of group and individual activities tailored to the individual’s interests, abilities and care needs.
- Building strong, trusted relationships with residents to understand their preferences and encourage inclusive participation for all.
- Collaborating as part of a multi-disciplinary team to maintain a stimulating, positive environment where residents feel valued and connected.

Preferred/Transferable Skills:
- Experience in activities coordination, community care, events, childcare or hospitality is beneficial, though not always required.
