About Haddington Care Home
Haddington Care Home is a well-established provider of Residential, Nursing, Dementia, Respite, and Palliative care, serving up to 68 residents in a supportive, high-standard environment. Role Overview
As the Activities Coordinator, you will play a vital role in enhancing daily life by designing and delivering engaging, inclusive, and person-centred activities that promote wellbeing, independence, and social connection for residents.
Key responsibilities include:
- Planning and delivering a diverse programme of group and individual activities, tailored to personal interests, abilities, and care needs.
- Building strong relationships with residents to understand preferences and ensure inclusive participation, especially for those with dementia or other sensory/physical challenges.
- Collaborating with the care team to maintain a positive and stimulating environment where residents feel valued, active, and connected.

This role is open to both newcomers and experienced professionals. Training and mentorship will be provided to support your development.
Job Details
- Contract Type: Full-time
- Salary: £13.52 per hour
- Contract Hours: 35 per week (over 5 days, including weekends)
- Benefits:
- PVG scheme membership paid
- Company pension scheme
- Uniform provided
- 5.6 weeks annual leave (pro-rata for part-time roles)
What We Are Looking For

- A genuine commitment to supporting and empowering older adults.
- Experience working independently or as part of a team.
- Previous activities, care, hospitality, event management, childcare, or community role experience is helpful but not essential. Transferable skills are highly valued.
