Activities Coordinator - Abbeyfield Living Society

Role: Activities Coordinator
✅ Location: Bradbury House, Gosforth, Seascale, CA20 1AU
🕒 Hours: 21 hours per week 💰 Pay: £12.77 – £12.98 per hour
📅 Rota:
- Monday: 10am – 2pm
- Tuesday: 3:30pm – 8pm
- Wednesday: 10am – 2pm
- Thursday: 3:30pm – 8pm
- Friday: 10am – 2pm
About the Role
Abbeyfield believes that social and mental well-being is as essential as physical health. As an Activities Coordinator, you will:
- Plan and deliver a varied range of social activities tailored to individual needs, including residents with dementia.
- Get to know residents personally and collaborate with them on activity planning, ensuring engagement meets their preferences and capabilities.
- Build meaningful relationships by incorporating residents’ life stories and interests into tailored activities.
- Partner with staff and volunteers, harnessing their expertise and motivating them as part of the process.
- Organise supplies and manage logistics efficiently, addressing concerns promptly.
- Maintain detailed records of engagement and past/planned activities.

Additional Requirements
⚠ To be eligible for this role, you will need:
- Right to work in the UK
- Two satisfactory professional references
- Ability to undergo an Enhanced DBS check (funded by Abbeyfield)
- Willingness to disclose all convictions (failure to do so may result in revocation of an offer)
