Activities Coordinator (Wellbeing Coordinator)

Location: Stanton Court Care & Nursing Home, Stanton Drew (BS39 4ER) Facility: Country Court – Specialist Nursing & Residential Home

We require access to your own transport with appropriate business insurance.

Hours & Work Pattern

  • 32 hours per week
  • Weekends worked on rota

About the Role

Stanton Court thrives as a warm, home-from-home setting where residents feel supported, engaged, and valued. We’re seeking a creative Wellbeing Coordinator with fresh ideas to bring dynamic, varied, and meaningful activities into daily life.

As the heartbeat of resident enjoyment, you’ll:

  • Foster connections through small and large-scale activities
  • Plan trips, seasonal celebrations, and charity events
  • Lead the ‘Resident of the Day’ programme to deepen relationships
  • Collaborate with local community partners
  • Inspire through energetic, thoughtful activities (crafts, gardening, arts, experiences)

Every day is different—and every resident unique. Your role is to make nature disappear, tradition shine, and memories bloom.

Your Responsibilities

Core Tasks

  • Activity organisation: Deliver diverse daytime/social events tailored to individual and group interests.
  • Systematic engagement: Track impacts through ‘Resident of the Day’, meeting key outcomes.
  • Community partnership: Engage local networks and invite external contributors (e.g. charities, artists).
  • Innovation & energy: Refine our array of activities to intrigue, engage, and lift spirits.
  • Trip coordination: Plan excursions for residents using local/cultural hubs.
  • Specialised events: Execute annual pillars—for example, education day, health drives, festive events.
