Our care home, located in the heart of Kirkcaldy, a coastal town on the Forth Estuary in East Central Scotland, offers comprehensive Residential, Nursing, Dementia & Respite care, providing a supportive and caring environment for 60 residents.

Activities Coordinator Contract

  • £13.08 per hour
  • Contracted to 24 hours per week
  • Paid PVG, pension, uniform provided
  • 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)

Role Overview

As Activities Coordinator, you will play a key role in enhancing daily life by delivering engaging, meaningful, and person-centred activities that promote wellbeing, independence, and social interaction.

You will plan and deliver a varied programme of group and one-to-one activities, tailored to individual interests, abilities, and care needs. Building strong relationships is essential, enabling a clear understanding of preferences and supporting inclusive participation for all individuals, including those living with dementia.

What We Are Looking For

  • A creative, organised, and enthusiastic approach
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to plan and deliver engaging activities
  • A genuine interest in supporting older people
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Previous experience in activities or a similar role is beneficial, however, candidates with transferable skills from roles such as hospitality, events, childcare, or community work are encouraged to apply
