About the Role
As an Activities Coordinator at a Barchester care home, you’ll help to create a stimulating environment that enables us to deliver exceptional all-round care and support for our residents. Our ethos is all about celebrating life, so you’ll help to devise imaginative, fun and motivational activities that suit every interest and ability. This rewarding role involves:
- Getting to know our residents and their families
- Creating tailored activities programmes focused on maximising everyone’s wellbeing, independence, and social engagement
Responsibilities
- Planning, organising, and delivering engaging activities for residents
- Collaborating with staff and community partners to enhance the resident experience
- Charting progress, collecting feedback, and documenting outcomes
- Ensuring activities are inclusive, ageing-friendly, and catered to individual needs
