About The Role
As an Activities Lead at a Barchester care home, you'll help to create a stimulating environment that enables us to deliver exceptional all-round care and support for our residents.
You will be:
- Computer literate
- Able to work closely with our community engagement team to create community links and showcase our home
- Responsible for updating the home’s social media platforms
Our ethos is all about celebrating life, so you'll help to devise:
- Imaginative, fun, and motivational activities
- Tailored programmes for every interest and ability
As an Activities Coordinator, part of your role will involve:
- Getting to know our residents and their families
- Creating personalised activities programmes focused on maximising:
- Wellbeing
- Independence
- Social engagement
