Activities Lead Contract

£14.00 per hour
Contracted to 20.5 hours per week
Paid DBS, pension, uniform provided
5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)

Role Overview

As Activities Lead, you will take responsibility for developing and delivering a high quality, engaging and person centred activities programme. The role plays a key part in enhancing wellbeing, promoting independence and creating a positive, stimulating environment.

  • You will plan and lead both group and one to one activities, tailored to individual interests, abilities and care needs, including those living with dementia.
  • Building strong relationships will enable you to deliver meaningful and inclusive activities that encourage participation and social interaction.
  • Working closely with the Home Manager and wider team, you will ensure activities are well organised, consistent and aligned with individual care plans.
  • You will also maintain accurate records and continuously review and improve the programme to ensure it remains engaging and effective.

What We Are Looking For

  • Previous experience in an Activities Coordinator or similar role is essential
  • Proven ability to plan and deliver engaging activities and events
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Confident, creative and proactive approach
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience supporting older people, including those living with dementia
