We are looking for an Activities Volunteer to run activity sessions for the people we support at our supported living service in Chapel Ash. Volunteering with Creative Support is a great way to enrich the lives of people with support needs while helping our staff to deliver person-centred services.
We are looking for a creative person with strong communication and leadership skills. You will consult the people we support and plan a programme of activities in line with their interests. Sessions could include arts and crafts, music, games etc. If this sounds like something you would enjoy and you have a few hours to spare on a regular basis, we’d love to hear from you!
You will work with staff to promote activities to the people we support. You will plan for sessions in advance, preparing any necessary materials and/or equipment, and lead the activities, making them accessible for everyone.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
