The children, staff and Governors wish to recruit an enthusiastic, highly motivated and capable activity club assistant / assistants to play a key role in the development of our breakfast and after school club.
Experience of working with children/young people in a school environment is essential for this job, as well as the ability to communicate effectively with pupils, parents and staff members.

The successful candidate / candidates will work the following hours
- Breakfast Club from 7:30am to 8:45am Monday to Thursday
- and / or
- After school club from 3:15pm to 6:00pm Thursday and Friday.
The role will include –
- Working alongside other staff members
- Preparing the rooms for breakfast and / or after school club snack and play activities
- Providing the children with a healthy, balanced breakfast / snack
- Promoting and encouraging games and activities in the club
- Working as a team with the other staff and liaising with teachers as needed
- Ensuring appropriate behaviour and dealing with any issues during the club
- Liaising with parents
