Activities Co-ordinator Wanted for Mulberry 2
We’re looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Activities Co-ordinator to join our friendly and dynamic team on Mulberry 2.
About Mulberry 2
Mulberry 2 is a busy and supportive acute treatment ward, where no two days are the same. We work closely with patients from across the acute pathway, creating a positive and engaging environment that supports recovery.
Our team has a strong multidisciplinary presence, bringing together a wide range of skills, experience and energy. We pride ourselves on working collaboratively—not just with each other, but with neighbouring services and, most importantly, with our service users. There’s a real sense of teamwork here, and plenty of opportunities to bring your own ideas and creativity into the role.
The Role
We’re looking for someone who enjoys working as part of a team, is reliable and accountable, and can stay positive and adaptable in a fast-paced environment. This role would suit someone who thrives on variety, enjoys building connections, and wants to make a meaningful difference in people’s day-to-day experience on the ward.

- The provision and co-ordination of meaningful group and activity sessions for service users.
- The development of activities with individuals and the provision of support to enable people to engage in activity.
- To offer group based sessions with a focus on skill development/social inclusion/communication/education and recovery.
- Working alongside the Nursing and Occupational Therapy team.
- Providing support and practical assistance to service users in order for them to regain confidence in their skills and abilities to enable a successful re integration into the community.
- Inspiring hope and belief that recovery is possible in others.
- Within a relationship of mutuality, facilitate and support information sharing to promote choice, self-determination and opportunities for the fulfilment of socially valued roles and connection to local communities.
- Promotion of their role within the ward and wider care setting.
