Activities Coordinator

Fordingbridge, Hampshire. An Allegra Care Home

30 hours per week (includes alternate weekends)

£13.20 per hour

At Fordingbridge Care Home, part of the Allegra Care Group, we do things differently.

Our household model of care focuses on truly person-centred living—supporting independence, life skills, and meaningful daily experiences in a warm, homely environment. Our teams work closely with residents to create a community where everyone feels valued and engaged.

We are now looking for a creative, compassionate Activities Coordinator to join our team in the heart of the beautiful New Forest—where no two days are ever the same.

About The Role

As an Activities Coordinator, you’ll be at the heart of our home—bringing energy, creativity, and warmth to each day.

You’ll design and deliver a varied programme of engaging, meaningful activities, tailored to the interests, abilities, and life stories of our residents.

  • Planning and delivering activities that promote wellbeing, independence, and enjoyment
  • Encouraging residents to take part and try new experiences
  • Supporting hobbies, crafts, and life skills activities

  • Building strong relationships with residents and colleagues
  • Maintaining accurate activity records and plans

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who is:

  • Fun, caring, and full of enthusiasm
  • A confident communicator with a positive, “can-do” attitude
  • Able to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Highly organised, adaptable, and a natural multitasker
  • Passionate about enriching the lives of others
  • Some experience in care is required
  • Basic IT and organisational skills are beneficial (full training provided)
