Activity Coordinator

Location: Ashton Manor, Lancaster

Salary: £13.45 per hour, with overtime paid at £14.95 per hour

Hours: Full-Time 26.25 hours per week - with every other weekend off

To ensure consistency in our care delivery, applicants must already have the Right to Work in the UK for a minimum of 18 months from their agreed start date.

About the Role:

Evermore Care is seeking a creative and enthusiastic Lifestyle Coordinator / Activity Coordinator to join our state-of-the-art care home in Lancaster, Ashton Manor. This is a fantastic opportunity where you’ll support in the planning, design, and leading a variety of engaging social and recreational activities that enrich the lives of our elderly residents.

Main Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging activities, such as musical sessions, exercise classes, community outings, and themed events. Collaborate with local performers and organisations to arrange enriching experiences for residents. Maintain accurate records, update care plans, and manage schedules effectively. Inspire friendships, creativity, and culture tailored to the diverse interests of residents.

Experience and Qualifications:

Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a care or dementia environment. Strong communication, organisational, and time-management skills. A creative and proactive approach with a passion for making a positive difference.
