An Exciting Opportunity
An exciting 12-month opportunity has arisen for a full-time Activity Coordinator to join our well-established multidisciplinary team on Clover Ward, an acute mental health ward based at Lynfield Mount Hospital.
In this role, you will support the Occupational Therapy team to plan, facilitate, and deliver meaningful therapeutic activities on both a one-to-one and group basis. Your work will help promote recovery, social inclusion, and positive patient experiences within a busy acute ward environment.
This post is ideal for someone who enjoys working directly with people, has a caring and supportive approach, and is interested in developing experience within mental health services or pursuing a future career in therapy or healthcare.

Role Responsibilities
As an Activity Coordinator, you will work within the occupational therapy team structure to assist in the delivery of meaningful activity on the ward and within the local community, and support recovery and transition from hospital to home. You will work collaboratively with the wider multidisciplinary team both on the ward and in the community. In addition, you will be involved in service development within the relevant area.
We are seeking an innovative individual, able to work collaboratively with service users and staff, and integrate well into the multidisciplinary team on the ward.
The provision will incorporate a 7-day service with shift working to enhance the therapeutic offer for service users, and the successful applicant will complete 12-hour shifts.
