Location & Contract
📍 School: Butts Road, Farnley Tyas, Huddersfield, HD4 6TZ 🕒 Hours: 25 hours 50 minutes per week:
- Lamps breakfast Club (250 mins, 5h50m)
- Office hours: 7h30am - 9h00pm
- In-class Teachingsky Assistant (15)
- 12h00 - 12h00 lunch
🏛 Gender: Temporary (12 months) 🔬 Grade: Grade 3 (£28,483) | Grade 4 (£33,373) | Grade 5 (£38,825) monthly
About the Combined Role
Farnley Tyas First School (part of the Green Hills First Federation), invites applications for a combined role: 🔹 Activity Support Assistant (Grade 4) – Supervises and cares for children attending Breakfast Club (7:50am-9:00am, 5h50m x 5 days). 🔹 Educational Teaching Assistant (Grade 5) – Works directly with small groups of children in-class, supports interventions, and leads learning. 🔹 Lunchtime Support Assistant (Grade 3) – Supervises children during lunch (12:00-1:00pm, 5x/week) and playtimes.

Requirements
✅ Adept in pastoral and safeguarding best practices (all appointments require enhanced DBS checks). ✅ Experience, or willingness, to work with vulnerable children; a conviction may not exclude appointments.
Non-negotiables: ⚠️ DBS checks are mandatory at the appropriate level for safeguarding compliance.
