Activity Therapist Mount Merrion Avenue – Electus Healthcare
A proactive, passionate, and ambitious opportunity exists to join Electus Healthcare as an Activity Therapist—creating life-enriching, person-centred environments for our residents.
About the Role
The Activity Therapist plays a vital role in supporting our care team to deliver exceptional care to meaningful, cherished residents. Your primary focus will be:
- Building strong, positive relationships with residents to foster a welcoming, friendly atmosphere within the home
- Designing, implementing, and supporting a stimulating activity programme tailored to individual needs; enhancing the quality and fulfilling the day of every resident
- Collaborating with colleagues to ensure person-centred care is delivered with dignity and respect
No prior experience is required! All you need is a genuine desire to learn, a ‘Can Do’ attitude, and enthusiasm for making a difference. Full on-the-job training will be provided, guided by experienced care professionals.

Proficient in activity planning / therapeutic engagement strategies would be advantageous.
Employment Details
Contract: Full-time, based in Northern Ireland (location: Mount Merrion Avenue)
Salray: £13.71 per hour
