An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious Actuarial Analyst to join a growing and innovative pensions consulting team.
About the Role
You’ll join a collaborative team where professional development is actively supported through structured training, mentoring, and broad career exposure across the business. This is an outstanding opportunity to build a long-term actuarial career while directly contributing to senior leaders and industry specialists.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting the delivery of high-quality actuarial services across a portfolio of pension scheme clients
- Preparing actuarial calculations, member benefit calculations, and actuarial models
- Assessing the impact of demographic changes, new legislation, and financial market developments on pension schemes
- Drafting report, presentational materials, and technical client communications
- Participating in client meetings and building stakeholder relationships
- Leveraging innovative actuarial technology and analytical tools to evaluate risks and structure bespoke solutions
- Supporting projects focused on process improvement and service innovation
- Developing specialist expertise aligned with personal interests and career aspirations

Key Requirements
- Honours degree (2:1 or above) in a science-based subject
- A-Level Mathematics (or equivalent) highly desirable
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Word) with the ability to quickly adapt to new systems
- Proactive approach, self-starter with strong task management and initiative
- Understanding of UK Defined Benefit pension schemes and their regulatory framework desirable
