Actuarial Summer Internship
Actuarial Intern – Summer 8 Week Contract
Location: London – Hybrid (minimum 50% office-based) Duration: 8-week contract Hours: Full-time (35 hours per week)

As an Actuarial Intern, you’ll gain exposure to actuarial practices, investment processes, and the operational dynamics of a leading financial services organisation.

Key Responsibilities
- Work side-by-side with actuaries, analysts, and investment teams on real-world business activities.
- Support credit risk analysis, learning how to evaluate and assess the financial health of companies and assets.
- Maintain and organise key data, records, and reporting to support business decisions.
- Contribute to analysing findings and preparing reports for senior stakeholders.
- Tackle ad hoc projects, including the application of AI and data-driven solutions to enhance processes.

Skills & Experience
Essential
- Strong numerical skills, ideally with A-Level Maths or a science-based subject (e.g., Physics, Economics, Actuarial Science).
- Experience and qualifications in Microsoft Office tools (Excel), including advanced spreadsheet functions and reporting.
- Good IT proficiency, particularly in spreadsheet development and analysis.
- Strong communication skills (oral and written).
- Highly organised, with an ability to logical process documentation and administrative workflows.
- Capacity to develop product knowledge as you progress.
Desired
- Practical experience in financial analysis, risk assessment, or retirement planning.
- Initiative to solve business problems creatively and apply emerging technologies.
