Fuelled by our pursuit of excellence and quest to innovate, we pride ourselves on doing things differently. Our people aren’t afraid to disrupt and challenge industry thinking to provide the best protection and savings & retirement reinsurance products and services.

About the Team

The Protection Pricing team based in London is dedicated to experience analysis and best estimate assumption setting as part of reinsurance tender exercises for our Europe Protection business. As part of a wider global Protection line of business, this role offers opportunities to collaborate with—and learn from—our colleagues across the world.

The Role

As a proactive and technical Pricing Actuary, you will be integral to delivering reinsurance terms primarily to UK and Irish clients. Reporting to the AVP, Pricing, Protection, Europe, this role offers a wide range of challenging work, access to senior leadership within the Global Protection business, and the opportunity to positively contribute to our strategy in a meaningful way.

The candidate must demonstrate a high level of initiative, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to apply concepts effectively before articulating their findings in various settings. You will also be encouraged to develop and grow your capabilities within the career progression framework.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
