Registered Nurse - Band 6 Acute Oncology Sister
We are seeking an enthusiastic, motivated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Acute Oncology Team as a Band 6 Acute Oncology Sister.
This is an exciting opportunity to provide specialist care for patients experiencing complications related to cancer and systemic anti-cancer treatment, ensuring timely assessment with telephone triage, clinical assessment and intervention. As an autonomous practitioner working as part of a multi-disciplinary team you will support the patient pathway working in partnership with other disciplines to deliver safe and supported patient outcomes.
The post holder will work primarily within either the Aylesford Unit or Rigby Unit and be based within the Chemotherapy Suite. They will work in partnership with the Nurse Consultant, Specialist Practitioners and Unit Manager supporting the delivery of a consistently high quality and cost effective service.
