Acute Team Dietetic Support Worker
Nutrition and Dietetics Team – Full-Time Dietetic Support Worker at Dorset County Hospital
About the Role
Join the forward-thinking, positive, and friendly Nutrition and Dietetics team at Dorset County Hospital (Dorchester) as a Full-Time, Permanent Dietetic Support Worker. You’ll work within the established Acute Dietetic team, supporting adult patients under the supervision of Dietitians, delivering high-quality care in a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide support to patients in the wider Acute Dietetic team
- Work under the guidance of Dietitians to deliver tailored nutritional care
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in a professional and interprofessional manner
Person Specification & Essential Requirements
We’re looking for an individual who:
- Has worked in a team environment, demonstrating strong teamwork and collaboration skills
- Possesses excellent IT and organisational capabilities
- Can proactively approach work with a positive, solutions-focused attitude
- Most importantly: Experience of – or volunteering in – a healthcare setting is mandatory
- Displays a caring nature and exceptional interpersonal skills, as this role involves close interaction with patients and healthcare colleagues
