About the Role

As ACUVUE Account Manager, you’ll drive revenue growth and product adoption for independent opticians, regional chains, and national retailers in the Milton Keynes/Northampton territories.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Account Management:

    • Develop tailored engagement plans leveraging sales data and insights.
    • Maintain up-to-date clinical and commercial knowledge of ACUVUE® portfolio (product expertise assessments required).
  • Revenue Growth & Partnership Building:

    • Convince eye care practitioners of the clinical and commercial superiority of ACUVUE® products.
    • Resolve queries, build long-term partnerships, and achieve territory business goals.
    • Monitor sales performance (weekly, monthly, annual) through CRM tools.

  • Channel & Marketing Execution:

    • Implement marketing initiatives and product launches aligned with company priorities.
    • Collaborate with key customers on mutually beneficial growth activities within budget limits.
  • Industry & Competency Knowledge:

    • Stay updated on market trends, customer needs, and competitor insights.
    • Report insights to the wider organisation for strategic decision-making.
  • Representation & Networking:

    • Attend regional/national sales meetings, clinical conferences, and customer events (evenings/weekends).

Who We’re Looking For

Essential

  • Proven externally facing sales experience in a customer-centric role.
  • Strong track record of achieving targets with a persuasive mindset.
  • Demonstrable leadership skills:
    • Influence, negotiation, and inspirational communication in 1:1 and large-group settings.
  • Ability to build sustainable business relationships requiring independence, self-motivation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook) and CRM systems.

  • Optical industry knowledge (significant plus).
  • Degree (any discipline) or relevant professional qualifications (e.g., optical sciences).
