About The Team
The Ad Operations Specialist exists to ensure that every campaign Equativ commits to is delivered with excellence — and that the commercial team has a credible, technically grounded operational partner at every stage of the client lifecycle, from first proposal to final reconciliation. This role sits at the intersection of delivery, commercial support, and platform expertise, and is defined by outcomes rather than a fixed task list. As Equativ's operating model evolves, so will the precise scope of this role — what remains constant is the standard: no delivery failures, no commercial surprises, no gaps between what was sold and what was executed.
Your Mission
This role is accountable for three core outcomes. How those outcomes are achieved will be defined collaboratively as the team's operating model matures.
Delivery Excellence
Campaigns under AdOps ownership run as committed — on time, on brief, within SLA, and with issues resolved before they become visible to the client. The standard is proactive, not reactive: delivery risk is anticipated and managed, not reported after the fact.
Commercial Operations Support
The commercial team — Account Management and Sales — has a technically credible operational partner at every stage of the client lifecycle. Pre-sales proposals are operationally sound. Deal structures are executable. The gap between what is sold and what is delivered is systematically closed.
Operational Intelligence
The AdOps function generates insight, not just execution. Platform data, delivery patterns, and optimisation outcomes are communicated in a way that adds value to client conversations and informs commercial decisions. AdOps is a source of intelligence for the organisation, not a black box.
Your Role
- Manage, trade, and optimize campaigns to meet client KPIs and performance objectives.
- Work closely with DSP partners, Curators, and Agency stakeholders to ensure effective campaign management and ongoing optimization.
- Support curators (programmatic resellers) in executing campaign briefs by coordinating with internal supply teams to secure and deliver the appropriate inventory.
- Oversee and support the full post-sale process, including campaign setup, pacing and delivery management, incremental revenue generation, and post-campaign performance analysis.
- Develop deep expertise in the Maestro platform (Equativ Curation & Activation and BKO platforms), including a strong understanding of its features, capabilities, and operational limitations.
- Respond promptly to urgent trading requests from the Account Management team and provide first-level troubleshooting support when issues arise.
- Collaborate with Support and Technical Operations teams to resolve more complex technical and delivery-related issues.
- Partner with Equativ teams across regions to drive operational synergies, share best practices, and support regional growth initiatives.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
