- Unaccredited salary: £32,000 – £39,000 per year
About the Role
Priory Eden House is seeking an Accredited Addictions Therapist to join their team. Part of the Priory Group, Eden House is an 18-bed residential service in North London specialising in treatment for substance misuse and addictive behaviours.
This role supports Flourish, a therapy-led addiction programme offering structured, non-medical treatment in a homely, supportive environment. It’s suited for individuals who need psychological intervention, relapse prevention, and practical recovery skills rather than medical detoxification.
Your Responsibilities
In this therapeutic role, you’ll:
- Deliver daily group sessions, psychoeducational workshops, and recovery-focused activities in a non-medical setting
- Provide evidence-based assessment, therapy, and intervention for clients with substance misuse or addictive behaviours
- Design individual and group treatment plans with a person-centred approach to promote long-term recovery
- Work within a multidisciplinary team, maintaining clinical records, risk assessments, and care plans
- Build strong therapeutic relationships while upholding ethical, professional, and regulatory standards

Requirements
Essential
- Accreditation from a recognised professional body (e.g., BACP, UKCP, NCS, or equivalent)
- Proven experience in delivering therapy for substance misuse and addictive behaviours
- Ability to facilitate one-to-one and group therapy sessions using evidence-based methods
- Strong assessment, risk management, and clinical record-keeping skills
- Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and multidisciplinary collaboration
Desirable
- Experience in residential addiction treatment, rehabilitation, or recovery-focused settings
- Psychoeducational group facilitation (e.g., relapse prevention, recovery skills)
- Knowledge of safeguarding, clinical governance, and regulatory compliance
- Additional training in CBT, DBT, Motivational Interviewing (MI), or speciality addictions therapies
