Location: Kettering, Tresham College – Kettering Campus
Salary/Benefits:
- £23,557 to £26,754 per annum (DOE)
- 27 days annual leave + bank holidays

About The Role
We are seeking an **Additional Learning Support Administrator for our Foundation Learning and Additional Learning Support department at The Bedford College Group.
Key Responsibilities:

SEND Processes & Compliance:
- Coordinate key SEND processes (support meetings, EHCP consultations, annual reviews, exam access arrangements)
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements

Student Contact & Referrals:
- Maintain timely contact with learners declaring additional needs
- Manage referrals from tutors and arrange support meetings
- Enable access to Additional Learning Support

Advice, Guidance & Customer Service:
- Serve as the first point of contact for students/staff
- Provide clear ALS (Additional Learning Support) advice
- Deliver high-standard customer service

Administrative & Record Management:
- Prepare/maintain accurate SEND documentation and learner files
- Support CogNassist processes
- Ensure data is logged, tracked, and filed correctly

About You (Requirements)
Qualifications & Professional Development:
- GCSE English & Maths (Grade 4+ or A-C) OR willingness to achieve Level 2
- Commitment to ongoing skills development
Customer Service & Confidentiality:
- Minimum two years' experience in customer-focused roles
- Professional handling of confidential information
- High-quality, welcoming support delivery
Administration, IT & Accuracy:
- Advanced skills in:
- Microsoft Excel, Word, & PowerPoint
- Ability to accurately:
- Record, track, and retrieve data/documents
- Manage both paper and digital systems
Communication, Teamwork & Values:
- Confident communicator (all channels)
