About the Role

The Mathematics and Computer Science Department at Pensacola State College is seeking passionate Adjunct Instructors to teach college-level Cybersecurity courses in face-to-face and asynchronous online formats.
In this role, you will:
- Engage and educate students through interactive instruction
- Develop and assess college-level curricula aligned with industry standards
- Participate in program evaluation and maintain adherence to College and department standards
- Utilize and demonstrate proficiency in technology required for assigned courses
Salary & Compensation
Adjunct faculty are compensated on an hourly basis based on qualifications:
- Master’s Degree: $35.00/hour
- Doctorate: $38.00/hour

Note: This is an open applicant pool filled based on department needs.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree from an institution accredited by the U.S. Department of Education and approved by the College, or a master’s degree plus 18 graduate hours in the field
- Ability to use and teach technologies required for the assigned Cybersecurity course(s)
- Successful completion of a criminal background check (mandatory for all candidates)
