AD/Manager M&A and Special Situations – £70,000–£120,000 Plus Bonus
This established and growing financial advisory practice is seeking an Associate Director or Manager to join its M&A and Special Situations team.
The specialist team advises boards, lenders, investors, and management teams on core M&A projects, as well as complex transactions involving financially stressed, underperforming, or distressed businesses. This role offers exposure to a wide range of sell-side and buy-side mandates across multiple sectors, including:
- Accelerated transactions
- Restructurings
- Carve-outs
- Other bespoke M&A situations

Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day execution of M&A transactions, from marketing through to completion
- Manage client relationships and coordinate with buyers, investors, lenders, and legal advisers
- Prepare and review transaction materials, financial analysis, valuations, and presentations
- Oversee due diligence processes and support commercial negotiations
- Lead project teams, mentor junior colleagues, and ensure high-quality client delivery
- Contribute to business development, market research, and origination activities
Requirements & Skills
- Significant experience in:
- Corporate Finance
- M&A Advisory
- Investment Banking, or a related financial advisory environment
- Strong understanding of:
- M&A transactions
- Financial analysis
- Deal execution
- Experience with special situations, restructuring, or distressed transactions is advantageous
- Commercially astute with excellent:
- Analytical skills
- Communication skills
- Project management skills
- Proven ability to:
- Manage multiple stakeholders
- Develop and maintain client relationships
- Lead teams and support the development of junior professionals
