About The Role

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for this role should possess the following qualifications:

  • Currently studying at AAT Level 2 or 3, demonstrating a strong commitment to developing a career in finance.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills to manage high-volume transactions accurately.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, maintaining accuracy and timeliness.
  • Good communication skills to handle supplier queries and reconcile statements effectively.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Excel, is desirable.

Responsibilities

The key responsibilities associated with this role include:

  • Managing purchase ledger processes with accuracy and efficiency, ensuring all transactions are correctly recorded.
  • Processing a high volume of invoices, ensuring timely and accurate entry into the financial system.
  • Dealing with supplier statements, reconciling discrepancies, and maintaining positive supplier relationships.
  • Responding to supplier queries promptly and professionally.
  • Performing regular reconciliations to ensure financial data integrity.
  • Supporting other finance team members with administrative tasks as needed.
  • Assisting in month-end and year-end closing processes when required.
