Admin and Compliance Assistant
Administration Assistant – Worthing Office
Our client, a well-established professional services firm, is seeking an Administration Assistant to join their Worthing office.
This is a varied, multi-functional role supporting both front-of-house operations and internal compliance and accounting processes. The position suits a highly organised, detail-focused individual looking to develop within a fast-paced and supportive accountancy environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as part of the front-of-house team, greeting clients and handling telephone and email enquiries in a professional manner
- Maintain and update client records across multiple systems, ensuring accuracy and data integrity
- Support company secretarial processes, including preparation of statutory documentation and ensuring deadlines are met
- Assist accountants with bookkeeping tasks and ad hoc financial administration
- Liaise with internal departments (Finance, HR, IT, and Marketing) to support ongoing projects
- Support implementation and improvement of systems and processes where required
- Ensure compliance tasks are completed accurately and in line with regulatory requirements

- Strong communication skills with a confident and professional manner
- Highly organised and able to manage multiple priorities effectively
- Comfortable working with numbers and maintaining high levels of accuracy
- Quick to learn and adaptable in a fast-changing environment
- Reliable, punctual, and professional in presentation and approach

Essential
- Experience in company secretarial work
Desirable
- Previous exposure to bookkeeping, accounting systems, or practice environments
- Confident using a range of software systems and open to learning new platforms
