THE OPPORTUNITY – ADMINISTRATION & TECHNICAL COORDINATOR
The Administration & Technical Co-ordinator role provides technical and administrative support to the organisation, with a focus on smooth running and efficiency. Co-ordinating activities across departments to ensure smooth workflow and communication whilst providing support maintaining a high level of confidentiality as appropriate.

- Duration: 2-year contract
- Contract Type: PAYE
- Day Rate: TBC

Spirit Energy currently have a non-contractual hybrid working arrangement for all office-based workers. 4 days must be worked in the office with compulsory days being Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. The fourth day worked in-office (either Monday or Friday) is of the worker’s choosing but should be in keeping with what is most efficient and effective for their team. The office is open 5 days a week for full time, in-office working if this is the contractor’s preference.

AND NOW FOR THE TECHNICAL BIT…
In role, you will be required to:
- First point of contact for support and technical inquiries, solving problems quickly and efficiently to minimize disruption.
- Management & coordination of logistics and diaries for both internal & external meetings for relevant leaders.
- Co-ordinate and book travel arrangements, plan itineraries and process expenses.
- Attend meetings and take notes/minutes as required.
- Manage department procurement card.
- Arrange internal events (townhalls, coffee sessions) and collate information for internal briefings.
- Co-ordinate attendance at external events (business breakfasts, awards, etc) as required.
- Organise and prepare documents requiring the integration of multiple office technology and software applications.
- Raise requisitions in SAP as required, following through with SES numbers and checking payments are forthcoming, acting as go between with vendor and finance department and dealing with queries.
- Monitor budget spend for POs within relevant departments and flag to appropriate person when reaching limit.
- Follow the safety and environmental policies, guidelines, and procedures as directed by the business unit.
- Support the creation of key technical reporting requirements
- Act as a Champion for implementation and embedding of change.
- Any other associated duties as reasonably required.
ABOUT YOU
To be successful in this role, we are looking for:
- Strong communication skills that informs/shares knowledge clearly and unambiguously.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively, within their team and across the organisation and externally as required.
- Networks effectively internally and externally, creating an immediate, positive, and credible impression on others.
- Leads other parties in conversations on important issues and use persuasive contributions to influence change and action.
- Demonstrates attention to detail.
- High School/College education required minimum
- Knowledge of energy industry preferred but not required
