Overall Purpose of The Job

The Administration and Data Quality Assistant will give support with the quality, manipulation and updating of company Data which will be in varying forms of complexity using Excel and Web based applications. Able to undertake other administrative roles with regards to general clerical work as required within the department and using bespoke company software.

Key Responsibilities And Tasks

Administrative Duties

  • Managing the updating of company data using Excel spreadsheets and web applications
  • Coordinating with various members of the organization for the updating of data
  • Invoice creation and monitoring using bespoke company software
  • Monthly Tracking of Age Debt and credit control
  • Updating vessel charge allocation spread sheets
  • Software Asset Management
  • Travel arrangements
  • Mobile phone registration and distribution

  • Good interaction with users to ascertain business requirements.
  • Attendance at review meetings
  • Maintain close liaison with Team Leader and other team members throughout the data cleansing process
  • Ability to organise and manage document files

Other Responsibilities

  • Supporting other members of the Information Systems Dept. on administrative issues where appropriate
  • Any other duties, which the Group Information Systems Manager may require to be carried out

Essential

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Ability to use MS Edge and/or Google Chrome for web searches
  • Willingness and ability to learn bespoke company software
  • Good communication and social skills
