Administration Assistant
Job Purpose
The purpose of this role is to provide general administrative and financial support across Family Hubs services. The successful candidate will:
- Provide a high-quality, positive customer experience as the first point of contact for families and partners to Family Hubs and Outreach Hubs.
- Undertake reception duties, including:
- Answering general telephone and face-to-face enquiries.
- Signing in visitors as part of safeguarding arrangements.
- Assist with the welfare of children by providing effective liaison, as necessary, with parents/staff.
- Make arrangements for:
- Events.
- Partner bookings.
- Parent carer panels (e.g.).
- Perform the following administrative tasks:
- Note-taking.
- Mail distribution.
- Work constructively as part of a team, understanding school roles and responsibilities, and your position within them.
About You
Candidates should have:
- Good numeracy and literacy skills.
- Ability to use relevant office equipment.
- Strong computer skills.
- Ability to relate effectively to children and adults.
- General clerical/administrative/financial work experience would be beneficial.
- Ability to identify personal training and development needs.
