Flint Bishop is a top 200 leading law firm with offices in Derby, Birmingham, Leeds & Swansea. We represent leading UK organisations including government agencies, public sector bodies and PLCs, providing pragmatic and solution-orientated advice, which is nationally recognised by both the legal and business community.

Due to a period of substantial growth, we are looking to hire an Administration Assistant for our Insurance Litigation department at our prestigious headquarters at Pride Park.

The Administration Assistant will be responsible for supporting the fee earners in the department with a range of administrative tasks.

Day to day reporting will be to Anthony Carrington, Partner & Head of Insurance Litigation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Scanning in hard copy post onto the CRM systems.
  • Data entry tasks to include file opening and setting up new matters via the CRM system.
  • Copy typing of witness statements.
  • Photocopying, preparing and sending bundles to Counsel.
  • Putting up of post.
  • Answering internal and external telephone calls.
  • File closing.
  • Prepare from dictation, verbal or written instructions correspondence and documents as required.
  • Ensure the confidentiality of all the firm’s and client’s documentation and information.
  • Work actively within your department to create a good working atmosphere and to provide a first-class service to all fee earners and clients.
  • Ensure that all SRA/ ISO and departmental procedures that are relevant to your role are followed and complied with.
