This is a full time role based in our Leicester office working with our national Court of Protection team (COP team). The role may require some travel to the Leeds and Birmingham offices and also to client homes. A full UK driving licence and use of a car would be advantageous.

To support our national Court of Protection team in their management of client finances and affairs and deliver great client service.
Main Duties And Responsibilities
Support the national Court of Protection team on a large caseload of professional and panel deputyship files and associated Court of Protection applications such as statutory wills and appointment of trustees and administrations of the estate of the Deputy’s clients Carry out administration tasks to include but not limited to: Filing of correspondence, documents and notes etc. on case files Maintaining the filing system of all case files Archiving files subject to the supervision of the appropriate case handler Assisting with printing, saving to case and copying of all documents and preparing correspondence Scanning and allocating post to case plans Copying, scanning and printing for case handlers Taking telephone messages for case handlers Assisting in preparation of document bundles Printing out various documents Opening new files including performing necessary checks and set up etc. Manage and process payments on behalf of clients Preparation of bills Manage the preparation of files for costing and manage the process through to issue of the fixed costs certificat Complete input of financial information into annual accounts from monthly bank statements and reconciliation of transactions Manage Court deadlines for annual reports Travel to and attend upon clients if required Ensure relevant deadlines and quality measures are adhered to Comply with relevant Weightmans and client policies and procedures Work in accordance with Weightmans’ values
