Administration Manager

Administration Manager – Hourly Role

Compensation: £29,419 per annum Weekly Hours: 43

As the Administration Manager, you will oversee crucial administrative functions, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory standards. This includes managing Health and Safety documentation, performing routine checks, and supporting various operational areas. Ideal candidates possess experience in administration and health and safety, alongside strong organisational skills and emphasis on detail. Knowledge of holiday park operations and cash handling is highly advantageous.


Key Responsibilities

Administrative & Compliance

  • Process and maintain paperwork to meet company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Compile Health and Safety documentation, including:
    • Timesheets
    • Purchase orders
    • Personnel files
    • Sales paperwork
    • Owner files
  • Support all departments with Health and Safety compliance.
  • Operate the Park Monitoring System to document and manage compliance tasks.

Operational Support

  • Conduct meter readings and necessary checks in a timely, accurate manner.
  • Actively contribute on-site to Health and Safety and operational needs.
  • Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly reports (banking, purchase orders, stock returns) to Head Office by deadlines.

Accounting & Financial Management

  • Manage cash handling processes, including preparation for external collections.
  • Oversee all owner accounts, including:
    • Insurance management
    • Gas and electrical testing
    • Billing for maintenance jobs
    • Debt collection
    • Relationship building and service enhancement
  • Assist in monitoring departmental budgets, raising purchase orders, and aligning spending to financial targets.

Communication & Teamwork

  • Maintain strong relationships with owners, contractors, and manufacturers to ensure smooth service and competitive pricing.
  • Collaborate across departments to uphold organised, efficient processes.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in an administrative assistant or health and safety role; a background in holiday parks is a distinct advantage.
  • Familiarity with cash handling procedures is beneficial.
  • Strong numeracy skills, attention to detail, and administrative proficiency.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills with the ability to work under pressure.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team and across various departments.
  • Willingness to operate on a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
