Role Description/Criteria
Oscar Romero Catholic Primary School is a faith-filled community where every child is known, supported and challenged to flourish. We are seeking an Administration Officer (Accounts/Payroll) to join our team. This is a key role within our Administration Team, supporting the Principal, Leadership Team, staff and families through the delivery of high-quality financial, payroll and administrative services.

This position would suit someone who is highly organised, approachable and able to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and professionalism. The successful applicant will play an integral role in the smooth operation of our school while maintaining a strong commitment to confidentiality and exceptional customer service.

The role includes:
- Managing school fees and debtor processes
- Completing daily banking, receipting and bank reconciliations
- Supporting payroll processing and maintaining staff employment records
- Preparing staff contracts and maintaining compliance records including VIT and Working With Children Checks
- Processing CSEF applications and family fee concessions
- Providing reception and front office support to students, families and visitors
- Responding to parent enquiries and supporting enrolment and general school administration
- Providing first aid support to students and maintaining accurate medical records
Knowledge of ICON is helpful, although not essential, and training will be provided. A more detailed Position Description is attached to this advertisement.
This is a full-time position (Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4:30pm). Applications for a 0.8 FTE appointment will also be considered, however availability to work on Fridays is essential.

The role is classified under the Victorian Catholic Education Multi Enterprise Agreement 2022, Education Support Category B, Level 2-8 to Level 3-6, depending on experience and qualifications.
