Administration Team Leader - Haematology
UCLH, a complex UK NHS trust, is seeking a dynamic, enthusiastic, and self-motivated Administration Team Leader to join the Haematology team. This role involves providing supervision and leadership to an outpatient administration team to ensure a high-quality, effective, and efficient service focused on positive patient experience.
Key Responsibilities

Supervision and Leadership:
- Provide expert administrative support to multidisciplinary clinical teams.
- Guide teams through complex pathways.
- Monitor waiting lists and service capacity to meet targets.

Service Improvement and Strategic Direction:
- Contribute to service improvement initiatives.
- Contribute to the strategic direction of the administration service.

Management Duties:
- Manage complex booking issues.
- Ensure accurate data capture.
- Oversee team development and rota management.

Role Responsibilities

Leadership:
- Lead and supervise a specialty administration team.
- Ensure a high-quality, efficient patient administrative service.

Oversight:
- Oversee waiting lists and RTT performance.
- Coordinate appointments and referrals.

Communication:
- Resolve complex queries and complaints.
- Act as the point of contact between patients, clinicians, and managers.

Management:
- Responsible for staff management, training, and performance.
- Ensure data quality and reporting.

Contribution:
- Contribute to service improvement, capacity management, and change initiatives across the specialty.
