Role Description
The Administration USA Council Assistant is a full-time, on-site role based in Thornaby-On-Tees. This position supports the day-to-day administrative operations of the USA Business Council, including coordinating schedules, managing correspondence, and maintaining records and databases. The assistant helps organize events, webinars, and meetings, prepares documents and presentations, and ensures smooth communication between members, partners, and internal teams. The role also involves responding to member inquiries, assisting with membership processes, and contributing to the efficient delivery of council programs and services.

- Candidates should possess strong administrative and organizational skills, including scheduling, document management, and record keeping.
- Candidates should possess proficiency with office software and digital tools, such as word processing, spreadsheets, email platforms, and online collaboration systems.
- Candidates should possess effective communication skills, including clear written communication, professional phone etiquette, and the ability to interact with diverse stakeholders.
- Candidates should possess event and meeting support capabilities, such as coordinating logistics, preparing materials, and handling attendee communications.
- Candidates should possess problem-solving and multitasking abilities, with attention to detail and a focus on accuracy and reliability.
- Relevant experience in administrative support, customer service, or office coordination is beneficial.
- A qualification in business administration or a related field is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Ability to work on-site in Thornaby-On-Tees, manage confidential information responsibly, and uphold inclusive and professional conduct.
