Business Unit Overview
Our business specialises in bespoke portfolio management, offering holistic solutions tailored to each client’s unique financial needs. We combine in-depth sector knowledge, integrity, and technical expertise—built on decades of experience—to deliver trustworthy relationships with long-standing clients (many for over 20 years).
Brief Role Objective
Director of Client Operations Support will lead a team providing administrative and compliance-focused support to Partners and Investment Managers/Assistants. Responsibilities will include ensuring streamlined workflows across client onboarding, portfolio management, data integrity, documentation, and internal reporting.
Key Responsibilities
Client & Portfolio Support
- Oversee collation, distribution, and accuracy of account opening documentation (verified and compliant).
- Monitor client onboarding timelines, asset/cash transfers, and internal/external party communication to meet service standards.
- Management of client correspondence (reports, ad-hoc queries, and periodic updates) with strict adherence to:
- Technical accuracy
- Clear, non-misleading language
- Appropriate tailoring to client sophistication level.
- Liaise with external custodians, platforms, and specialist providers to bridge information gaps seamlessly.

Operational Excellence
- Lead the follow-up on email/phone queries, escalating urgent matters while maintaining compliance.
- Train and coordinate team adherence to front-office systems and internal processes.
- Provide frontline support to LGT Lombard Lending operations, collating credit application materials.
- Monitor and process seasonal team activities (e.g., expenses, attendance schedules).
Data & Reporting Integrity
- Ensure timeliness and accuracy in compiling management information reports, KPI tracking, and incident records.
- Maintain up-to-date, comprehensive client/external vendor files, with strict documentation protocols.
Team Management & Development
- Publish/resource diary and meeting booking systems to align workloads with executive needs.
- Foster a working environment that drives initiatives for process improvement.
- Facilitate participation in internal development forums, encouraging upskilling.

Requirements
Core Skills & Technical Proficiency
- Exceptional attention to detail, commitment to double-checking work.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (advanced Excel proficiency mandatory); familiarity with front-office tools desirable.
- Legal and regulatory awareness in financial compliance.
