You’ll bolster our day-to-day operations, supporting senior team members and delivering exceptional administrative excellence. From managing files, generating reports, and ensuring efficient day-to-day function, your high-level organisational hit is what keeps our school running smoothly.

Based in an 18th-century building in Mitcham, Lavender Lodge School provides an inclusive and innovative experience for learners from across London, who come here to grow with a life-changing love of learning. Our pupils depart having built critical achievement and confidence.

Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to the school, including coordinating operations, managing documentation, and programme implementation.
- Develop and distribute timely reports and ensure trustworthy processing and compliance.
- Work flexibly across various administrative tasks, maintaining a professional and proactive attitude.
- Assist all school staff by documenting important information, auditing records, and handling liaison tasks.
- Maintain the logistics of events, automation systems, or specialised functions as needed with achievable and structured teamwork.
Must-Have Skills
- Proven experience in supporting education or manager administration roles within a busy setting.
- Hands-on experience with organisational tools, ERP, or document management systems.
- Excellent customer relations skills to foster strong relationships with colleagues and pupils.
- Ability to multitask efficiently; juggle multiple tasks simultaneously with minimal oversight.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, coupled with flexibility in engaging with young people in various ways.
- Expertise with autism strategies, including Makaton, Ofsted PODD and PECS for pupils communication needs.
- Experience with neurodiversity challenges and the ability to support with bright ideas for learning, and 1:1 mentorship bus the school considers a broad spectrum like complex learning needs and ADHD.

Desirable Experience
- Past demonstrations of understanding and supporting challenging or unsafe behaviours workably whilst driving compliance and supportive care studies to foster a learning environment.
- Willingness to collaborate with autistic pupils and asset-based teaching methodologies such as TEACCH and microlearning strategies.
- Open mind retain focus on individualised learning paths, technology and ensuring engagement regardless of pupils’ communication barriers.
