Mission: Working for a safer world
UL Solutions is looking for an Administrative Assistant for supporting a growing team in the EMEA region. You will be working alongside engineers on a day-to-day basis in helping with administration of documentation and communications with external clients.
Responsibilities
- Supporting the Engineering and Auditing Teams in handling various administrative tasks (Factory Audit Inspections).
- Assists the organizational unit with projects, which may include sending application forms, pre-review received documents for completeness and drafting documents for review by the assigning staff member.
- Assist in the preparation of presentations, reports, etc., to ensure clarity and professionalism.
- Provides support by following up with clients, responding to inquiries in a timely manner, resolving issues, and providing necessary information.
- Ensures that requirements are clearly documented, communicated, and updated.
- Provides operational support to our Engineers and Auditors by scheduling meetings and audits with clients.
- Read and follow the Underwriters Laboratories Code of Conduct and follow all physical and digital security practices.
- Answers varied telephone inquiries, and directs visitors as needed.
Qualifications
- High School diploma.
- Working experience in administrative roles (e.g., Administrative Assistant, Receptionist, or related).
- Knowledge of MS Office package (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).
- Proactive approach and ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Good interpersonal and organization skills.
- A person who is eager to learn and likes working with documents.

Total Rewards

The salary range for this position is based on multiple factors, including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, and other factors. This position is eligible for an annual bonus with a target payout of 5% of base salary. You’ll also enjoy annual paid leave, access to our ULS University to support continuous learning and career growth, two volunteering days each year to participate in community activities, and flexible working arrangements designed to help you balance work and life.
