Aynesley Walters Cohen Limited is seeking a highly organised and proactive Administrative Assistant to join its London office. This is an excellent opportunity for an administrative professional who enjoys supporting finance operations and ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of an office.
Working closely with the Accounting team, you will provide essential administrative and back-office support while acting as a professional first point of contact for telephone enquiries.
This role requires 4 days per week in the office, with 1 day to work from home. You will be working Monday - Friday.
Salary: £25,000 - £28,000 per year. Depending on experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Accounting department.
- Perform a variety of back-office administrative tasks, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Answer and direct incoming telephone calls in a professional and courteous manner.
- Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails and post.
- Organise and maintain electronic and paper filing systems.
- Prepare, format, and maintain documents, reports, and spreadsheets.
- Assist with data entry and maintaining accurate company records.
- Schedule meetings and coordinate diaries where required.
- Order and maintain office supplies and support general office administration.
- Liaise with internal departments and external contacts as required.
- Ensure confidential information is handled with discretion at all times.
- Provide additional administrative support to the wider business when required.

- Previous experience in an Administrative Assistant, Office Administrator, Receptionist, or similar support role.
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Confident telephone manner and excellent verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong written communication and administrative skills.
- Ability to prioritise workload and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Professional, reliable, and proactive approach to work.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- High level of discretion when handling confidential information.
